Hello! My name is Cassie and animals have always been the center of my world. I grew up surrounded by them - dogs, cats, and plenty of farm animals - which taught me early on what it means to care deeply, move gently, and build trust without words. Creativity was always another part of me, and I never imagined a life that didn’t include both.

 

When the dairy farm I worked on shut down, I knew I still needed to be in a career where animals were part of my daily life. Dog grooming felt like the perfect blend of my love for animals and my creative nature, and I jumped in wholeheartedly. I’ve now been grooming for five years, working in salons with all kinds of structures and speeds. Along the way, I realized something important: assembly-line grooming may be efficient, but it leaves little room for the patience, detail, and care each dog deserves.

 

That understanding is what inspired The Lather Lounge.

 

I built this space around one-on-one grooming, where every dog gets uninterrupted time, a calm environment, and a groom tailored to their needs. Without the rush, I can focus entirely on quality. Creating a relaxed experience and a beautiful finish, while making sure your dog feels safe, seen, and cared for.

 

My goal is for clients to feel like they’re leaving their dog with a friend, someone who treats them like family. Because that’s what they are to me. At home, my life is still full of animals, with two dogs, three cats, and a few others who keep things fun and chaotic in the best way.

 

The Lather Lounge is more than grooming. It’s a place where comfort, connection, and craftsmanship come together. One dog, one appointment, one peaceful experience at a time.
